Abstract

Abstract: Data migration is the question in information system which often meets in the promotion. This paper introduces to use Java and XML to achieve data migration between heterogeneous databases, to resolve the data heterogeneity of data conversion. Data migration has three parts which are the data extraction, data transformation and data loading. It also introduces the XML technology to achieve a common data migration tool, which makes it has good versatility and extensibility.
